After two days of intensive searching, the body of Jhetzabel Dellalit Pabón, a 25-year-old woman from Falcón state who was living in the San Alberto rural area of César department in Colombia, was found on Friday morning, July 12.

Initial reports indicate that Pabón had been bathing with friends last Wednesday in the La Llave well, located in the Villa Pinzón area of the town, when she disappeared from their sight.

It appears that Pabón, who had been living in Colombia for several years, jumped off a waterfall and did not resurface. Her friends immediately alerted the police and rescue agencies to begin a search, reported the La Vanguardia website.

Lieutenant Clemente Jaimes, an officer with the Floridablanca Fire Department, reported that they had five officers available, four of them certified in diving, to assist with the rescue. The site where Pabón drowned is many meters deep and has currents.
