Young Tourist Causes Chaos by Crashing into Distributor Without a License

A tourist in Corfu, who attempted an illegal overtaking, hit a distributor and left him on the asphalt.

In a video published by Mega, the traffic accident is recorded frame by frame. As can be seen, the driver of the black jeep steps on the double dividing line to overtake the red car and drops the distributor moving in the other stream.

The distributor was fortunately not seriously injured, while the driver was arrested at the port. As it turned out, he was an Italian minor, who didn’t even have a diploma. He was charged with illegal overtaking, dangerous driving, abandoning a victim and is expected to stand trial in December, when he will turn 18.

“I didn’t accept his apology”
Speaking to the television station, the victim explained how the accident happened. “He enters my stream, I was going to the store, he enters my stream, stresses me out and throws me, as you can see in the video, and leaves and goes to the boat in Igoumenitsa. They bring him to the ward. She was a minor, 17 years old, without a diploma. He said he didn’t realize he dropped me and all that and the reason they were running was because a friend of his was in pain.”

“With 70 km it went comfortably, certainly 70 to 80 km comfortably I think. He gave me an apology, I didn’t accept it, because… not out of malice, but out of reason. That you hit someone, okay, you don’t have a license, you stay over there, you don’t leave,” he added.
