Several Jurassians distinguished themselves during the national competition for soloists and copper and percussion quartets. This weekend, several musicians from the region took part in the competition held in Kriens. Among the winners from the Jura, Ann Marquis (Ensemble de Cuivres Concordia Mervelier and Ensemble de Cuivres jurassien B) won the title of Swiss Cadette viola champion. His brother Hugo Marquis (Brass Ensemble Concordia Mervelier and Jura Brass Ensemble A) is mounted on the 3e step of the podium in category B with his trombone. /comm-tna
