Young man uses fake SIC pass to borrow more than three million Kz – news

A citizen who goes by the name of Dário Augusto Silvestre, aged 32, was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Service, on charges of forgery of documents, extortion, corruption and theft. The accused used a fake SIC pass and was discovered when he tried to take out a loan of three million and 500 thousand kwanzas.

The young man in question was arrested in flagrante delicto by the Central Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the SIC, following a complaint. Dário Augusto Silvestre forged a SIC pass and acted as if he were an agent of authority.

The facts appear, according to SIC-Geral’s spokesperson, Manuel Halaiwa, that the citizen requested a loan from a private individual for 3,500,000 Kz, in the month of July, and upon receipt of the amounts, he handed over a fake copy of the SIC service pass.

It was through this document that the SIC initiated operational actions that culminated in the arrest of Dário Augusto Silvestre in flagrante delicto, in the town of Morro Bento, municipality of Luanda.

The SIC found that the citizen in question, using the same pass, acted as if he were an employee, carrying out arrests that culminated in extortion and corruption, making this his way of life, as he never worked in any public institution. or private.

“Given the seriousness of the conduct, combined with the fact that his involvement in organized groups that pretend to be agents of authority to carry out robberies, rapes, among other crimes, the citizen now detained will be presented to the Public Prosecutor’s Office and following the judge of guarantees for further procedural steps”, he said.
