A 23-year-old young man lost his life following being stabbed to death on Monday night at The Crane nightclub in Birmingham, UK, according to international media reports.
The police were alerted at 11:45 pm to a stabbing on the dance floor of the nightlife establishment, reports the website Notícias ao Minuto.
Despite the resuscitation maneuvers, the victim ended up dying, having been pronounced dead at the scene.
“This was a young man enjoying himself with friends on Boxing Day night and our thoughts are with his friends and family,” said lead detective Michelle Thurgood.
According to Thurgood, he believes the victim was approached by a group of people and then stabbed, so he is working hard to identify everyone involved.
West Midlands Police confirmed they were investigating the crime, viewing surveillance cameras and asking for statements from those at the scene.
however, no suspect has been arrested so far.
