A young food delivery rider allegedly committed suicide after being scolded by a female customer in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Nineteen-year-old Poithren, a B.Com student who was found dead at his residence, blamed a cotton customer’s harsh treatment for his extreme step in a note he wrote before committing suicide.

The incident took place on September 11 when Poithran was delayed in delivering food due to difficulties in locating the customer’s home.
The delay led to an argument with Poithran’s female customer, who scolded him and later filed a formal complaint about his service.
Two days later, the tension escalated when Poithran allegedly threw a rock at the woman’s house and broke her window. As a result of this incident, the woman filed a police complaint against Poithran.
