PB Percasi General Chairman GM Utut Adianto is happy that young chess players are able to show their teeth. He said that this is a good sign of regeneration.
“The enthusiasm for this tournament has never waned in the 14th time, but there was one surprise this year, the champions were all young people. The seniors remained in the senior class, but the open class was dominated by the young people,” said Utut at the closing of the championship held in Jakarta, Friday (23/8).
“This is a very good sign that regeneration is going well. The potential is big but between the potential and the finished goods, this is not an easy job,” added Utut.
