The books of Panagiotis Karonis Glossary in Khaki and Stichakia in Khaki, two volumes about navy folklore revealed by “To Doni” Publications, are offered.
The presentation will happen on Friday 14 June within the courtyard of Koino_Topia, Karaiskaki 153, floor ground, between Patreos and Gerokostopoulos in Patras at 8.30pm.
Mina Petropoulou, Philologist, Physician of Sociology and the writer Panagiotis Karonis will speak concerning the books. An viewers dialogue will observe.
Within the first quantity, the writer offers with the parallel linguistic expression adopted by the soldier, making a particular vocabulary, that’s, a language fermented and structured inside a particular social actuality referred to as the barracks, with which he generally colours his emotional cost, generally expresses the conditions he experiences, generally with an extra of athyrostomy and irony he’ll speak concerning the suffocating life within the military and his superiors who, in his eyes, characterize it and generally with shocking brevity he will get together with the opposite troopers. Panagiotis Karonis was born within the space of Historical Mantineia, particularly in Nestani in Arcadia. He has thus far revealed 14 books about folklore, literature and cinema. He has offered his portray in 5 particular person exhibitions in Athens and Patras and took part in lots of group exhibitions. He has illustrated fairy tales and designed units and costumes for the theater. He lives and works in Patras.
