And regarding his opinion of Arab artists such as Adel Imam and Muhammad Ramadan, he said that he likes to follow some Arab cinematic works, but he does not know the names of the artists, and among those he knows is the great artist Omar Sharif because he entered Hollywood and became known to the world.
The Indian artist’s comment aroused the resentment of the Arab public, as they considered that Salman Khan did not know Adel Imam and Muhammad Ramadan, and that the latter’s work did not enjoy the follow-up and admiration of the foreign audience.
Salman Khan, born in 1965, was raised between a Muslim father and a Hindu mother, and ancestors belonging to one of the famous Afghan tribes, where he was able to speak Hindi, English and Marathi. He did not complete his university studies at Saint Xavier College, which he joined like the rest of his sisters, and turned to acting to start his career a year ago 1988.
