Sadness descended on the artistic community following the departure of the able artist, Rajaa Hussein, who passed away, and her funeral was held in the complete absence of the artists, and the presence of her ex-husband, the artist Saif Abdel Rahman only, and the pages of social networking sites turned into a marquee for condolences.
Director Dina Wassef, wife of the mighty artist Saif Abdel Rahman, sent a message to his ex-wife, artist Rajaa Hussein, who left our world following a struggle with illness, at the age of 83.
And the Egyptian director said: “God’s survival.. You will miss me, Mama.. She was my second mother.. She will miss me, oh my tenderness.. May God have mercy on her.”
Raja’ Hussein’s relationship with her ex-wife: In their last press interview, Dina Wasef said, addressing her words to “Rajaa Hussein”: “Oh, Mama, I am fine, thank God.” Are you sleeping, or not, are you? Good.. Please, you must come.. Suffice the word Mama that you say.”
Dina Wassef also said: “We are one family.. My mother is not with me, because she is tired and sick, but our Lord compensated me with Mama Raja.. God never deprives me of her.. Human relations are very nice.. Professor Raja’, I know her since my childhood, and I love her as an artist, After I dealt with her, the issue was completely different, and her good relationship with my children is sufficient.. I am not a harm, and we are one family.. We visit each other, we go out with each other, and our relationship is very wonderful.”
Raja Hussein said during her statements: “A man has the right to marry, and this is the law of God Almighty, and therefore, it is not possible to object to the will of God Almighty, even if the second wife goes to the heart of the house.”
While the artist, Rajaa Hussein, the ex-wife of the great artist Saif Abdel Rahman, confirmed her rejection of the term harm, commenting: “This word of harm bothers me, what harm is it, and what is it, I and his wife Dina are one family, and I love her.”
She indicated that she divorced in 2006, and remained for a whole year, until the divorce was officially signed in 2007, stressing: “My son is a witness to my divorce contract, as well as my brother, and I kept the matter unnaturally secret, and I made a decision that there was no return to my husband Saif.. I kept my home and family.” And what was the extent of the harm that happened to me when he got married? On the contrary, my relationship with my ex-wife is like my relationship with my daughter, and it is enough for her to say, Mama.
She continued in her speech to us, Wassef, the second wife of her ex-husband, Saif Abdul Rahman: “May God make you happy, my daughter, and bless your age and keep you… You are ten years old.”
Dina Wassef added: “There is no team between her and my mother at all.. Her words and her fear for me are enough, and her fear for my children.. And our relationship is very good.. If I have no good in old people, the age of my children will never be good in me.”

The captain of the representative professions, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, came to the Police Mosque in order to participate in the funeral prayer for the body of the late artist, Rajaa Hussein, which was held on Tuesday.
The late woman was born in Qalyubia Governorate. She joined the Rihani Troupe in 1958. She worked on radio and television as an actress in radio and television series.
Among the most important works of the late woman are “Foahs and Rabbits”, “Mal and Women”, “Nawara”, “Wanes”, “Witness and Tears”, “Money and Children”, “The Return of the Prodigal Son” and “Sons and Killers”.
