He is called the comprehensive artist due to his multiple talents and abilities, as he worked as a monologist, and a popular singer, distinguished by his distinctive laugh, and presenting the role of Al-Saeedi.
In most of his works, he wears the jilbab and his turban, but he has a comic, and appeared in front of many big stars such as Ismail Yassin, Muhammad Al-Tabe’i, Al-Sayyid Badir, Shadia and others.

His artistic inclinations appeared since he was young, he did not complete his education, he had a sweet voice as he sang in the village, then he moved to Giza and began singing in nightclubs and popular joys.
The artist Omar El-Gizawy made everyone laugh through his films, which numbered more than 100 films, and El-Jizawy formed an exhibition group.
He was also famous for his monologues, including, “He sang, Wicca, on the music, your cheek, beautiful, I obey in the love of my heart, peace be upon you, and many other works.
Al-Jizawi was known for his multiple marriages, as it was said that he married 7 times, including the Lebanese dancer Anwar Hussein, and had a child named “Moin” who lived in Lebanon with his mother, as it was said that he had 4 boys and 3 girls.
Al-Jizawi was exposed to a strange situation that terrified the doctors, as on one occasion he was riding in a car, and the steering wheel was lost in the driver’s hands, and the car fell into the canal, and the driver jumped out of it before it fell
But Al-Jizawi remained inside the car that fell into the depths of the water, and everyone thought that he had died. When the forensic doctor came to perform an autopsy on the body, a strange thing happened that astonished everyone in the morgue. Al-Jizawi rose up and said: “This is the power of God.”
A crisis arose in the life of the artist Omar El-Gizawy because of a song that El-Gizawy had recorded, under the name “Yally from the Beheira.. You are from the people of Upper Egypt”, but he was surprised that the artist Shadia sings it under the name “Egypt Today on Eid”.
After the composer Gamal Salama presented it to Shadia, which caused him depression and severe sadness, he suffered a stroke, and died nine months later in 1983.
