The Syrian artist, Asala, celebrated the marriage of her daughter, Sham Al-Dhahabi, to the Egyptian businessman Ahmed Hilal, at the end of last March, in a ceremony attended by senior artists.
And Asala chose to announce the happy news in a spontaneous way, while reviving a concert in the Global Village in Dubai recently.
During her presence on the stage, Asala addressed the audience, saying: “I want to tell you that the wedding of my daughter Sham and Ahmed, God willing, is near.”
Last September, the Syrian star, Asala, celebrated her marriage to the Iraqi poet, Faeq Hassan, in a ceremony that was limited to relatives and close friends, following a love affair that lasted for a short period.
It is reported that they are 52 years old, and there is no age difference between them except for months. They are the same age, Asala Nasri, born on May 15, 1969.
