You were not able, a famous Egyptian artist, who needed a bathroom in the middle of the play, and what she did shocked Muhammad Sobhi and Mahmoud al-Qalawi and put them in trouble.

The creative artist, Mohamed Sobhi, appeared in the play “The Joker”, wearing many masks, in a precedent that was not widely spread at the time, which attracted many audiences of different ages.

The first performance of the play Joker was in 1979, starring Mohamed Sobhi, Hana Al-Shorbagy and Mahmoud Al-Qalawi, written by Yousry Al-Ebiari and produced and directed by Jalal Al-Sharqawi.

In the issue of Akher Sa’a magazine, issued on September 3, 1980, it was published that this work achieved great popularity for more than one theatrical season, and in a precedent, the first of its kind, Mohamed Sobhi entered the audience by storming the theater with a car.

And it was the artist Magda Al-Khatib who played the role of Wafa in the premiere before the artist Hana Al-Shorbagy, and Magda put the artist Mahmoud Al-Qalawi in an embarrassing situation when he finished his scene with Muhammad Sobhi and looked at Magda to complete the dialogue and did not find her, so he had to improvise some words until Magda entered.

After the show, when Al-Qalawi blamed Magda for her absence from the stage, she told him: “I was not able, I had to go to the bathroom, I was dying.”
