Shuhua, a member of the group (G)I-DLE, expressed his anger at the intensive water gun attack in the face on the stage of ‘Water Bomb Seoul 2022’.
During the V App Live held on the 26th, Shuhua referred to the stage of ‘Water Bomb Seoul 2022’, which he participated in, saying, “I have something to tell you.” He said, “I came here for ‘Water Bomb’ and I was so surprised. I didn’t know (this stage) was doing this in the water.”
‘Water Bomb’ is a concert with the concept that the audience enjoys the performance while playing water guns. Earlier, (G)I-DLE went on the stage of ‘Water Bomb Seoul 2022’ held at Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul on the same day and performed stages such as ‘TOMBOY’ and ‘MY BAG’.
However, during the stage, Shuhua did not even open his eyes properly due to the stream of water shot by the audience and appeared to dodge. In a situation like this, Jeon So-yeon is said to have asked on stage, “You can shoot everything, but please don’t just shoot her in the eyes.”
About the situation at the time, Shuhua said, “Who is shooting water in the face like that?” “I didn’t really see it. I was avoiding the water because I was wearing lenses, and then I opened my eyes, but I couldn’t see a real person for about 30 seconds.”
Then he said, “Do you think it makes sense?” “Didn’t I tell you to do it in moderation? I saw all the people who shot (water in the face). Let’s not meet on the street.”
