Days following the crisis of the Egyptian artist Ahmed Saad with the organizers of his concert in Tunisia, the Egyptian Musicians Syndicate entered the crisis line and took strict decisions.
The singer Mostafa Kamel, the head of the Egyptian Musicians Syndicate, issued a statement in which he emphasized the strength and durability of relations between Egypt and Tunisia at all levels and levels.
The captain also announced his decisions, which came following a full investigation of the circumstances of the conflict, and the first decision was to oblige singer Ahmed Saad to film a video containing an apology to the respected Tunisian women, in response to what he had done face to face towards a Tunisian woman, and uttered words such as “shut up.. shut up.”
In the second decision, the Syndicate admonished and blamed the organizers of the concert for not informing the Egyptian Syndicate of the terms of the contract, so that the Syndicate would be aware and act upon the occurrence of any problem with any artist.
The Syndicate also decided to address all official and sovereign authorities with the need for Egyptian artists to obtain an official letter from the Syndicate to travel abroad, so that the Syndicate would be a guarantor and an essential actor for all members’ actions.
It is noteworthy that the union also called for the need not to drift towards adding any racial dimension or discrimination, as the dispute that occurred must be limited to its parties only, and the terms of the contract concluded between them, without involving any other phrases that affect the strength of relations.
In the end, Mostafa Kamel, the head of the Egyptian Musicians Syndicate, apologized to the respected Tunisian women, for the words that aroused their displeasure in this incident.
