Press reports revealed details of a fan threatening Manchester United captain Harry Maguire with a bomb in his home, following the team’s 4-0 defeat from Liverpool in the English Premier League.
The newspaper “The Sun” published a report in which it said: The owner of the threat claimed that there were 3 bombs in Maguire’s house, and he would detonate them if he did not leave the team, the player is now staying with one of his friends and family in a safe remote house.
And she continued: The maniac gave Maguire a 72-hour deadline, or he will carry out his threat, which he sent to the player’s agent via e-mail.
She added: Police with their sniffer dogs searched Maguire’s luxury £4 million home for two days in a row and nothing was found.
A Manchester Police source told the newspaper: “This threat has been taken very seriously, Harry and his colleagues have been receiving constant death threats on social media, but this was different, and full of hate.”
The player will change the security camera system in his house, and get new guards for 24 hours a day during the seven days of the week.
Harry, who earns 190,000 pounds per week, has been under fire since the start of the current season due to his low level with his team.
