“Given the influx of connections to the impots.gouv site on this last day of the declarative campaign for the occupation of real estate, you may encounter difficulties in accessing your ‘Manage my real estate’ space. Under these conditions, it will be possible to make your declaration of occupation without penalty until August 1st inclusive, and this until midnight for the online procedure”is it indicated on the site of the taxes.
Initially scheduled for June 30, the deadline was finally pushed back to July 31 because of an “influx of declarations”. But this Monday, overwhelmed by the declarations, the taxpayers found themselves confronted with a bug on the site. Thus, they will have until Tuesday 1st inclusive to declare their real estate.
As a reminder, the obligation to declare real estate has been in place since January 1 to identify premises exempt from the habituation tax, abolished for all main residences in 2023.
On the tax site, each owner must now indicate for each of his properties his situation: if it is empty, in what capacity he occupies it himself, or decline the identity of a possible tenant.
