You can play Netflix games on your TV
After smartphones, the Los Gatos firm hopes to retain its players on the television screen.

Netflix has published an application on the Apple App Store to play its titles on a television set. Called “Netflix Game Controller”, it is not yet operational but will invite you to pair the iPhone to the screen to be able to use it as a controller. We do not immediately know the catalog that will be offered to subscribers. questioned by the Techcrunch site, the Californian firm refused to say more than the teaser “Soon available on Netflix” displayed by the application. Netflix’s TV gaming ambitions had been stale last March.
After offering its subscribers games accessible on smartphones, Netflix continues to expand in this segment. The company feeds ambitions in cloud gaming as its vice-president in charge of video games Mike Verdu had confirmed in October 2022. “We will not ask you to subscribe to replace the console”, he had however specified, in reference to the offers from Microsoft (Xbox) and Sony (PS5). This does not prevent the firm from prepare big budget video games and also to aim for the virtual reality.
Since Netflix launched in video games in November 2021, the content streaming specialist has released more than 50 titles and 40 are planned for this year alone.
