Resident Evil 2 & 3 fans can now try out a VR version of these iconic games.
While the film Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, released last November, is not a hit in theaters, here’s a new experience for early fans.
More than two years following its initial release, fans can finally play the remake of Resident Evil 2 of CAPCOM in virtual reality. Created by modder « praydog », the new mod works both for remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 and converts the two third person game experiences into a first person shooter. Something to give you even more nightmares.
This VR version is exceptionally complete, offering crisp movement controls and even 3D collision with some weapons like a knife, so you can fight your way through hordes of zombies.
To make the VR experience more comfortable, you will also be able to watch all the cutscenes of the 3D games directly on your headset. To get a better idea of this virtual reality game mode, a 10-minute gameplay clip has just been posted.
