At PSV Eindhoven, young Belgian striker Yorbe Vertessen very rarely has a say. He would be keen to find playing time elsewhere.
Clubs interested in Yorbe Vertessen do not miss. According to Eindhovens Dagblad, Union Berlin and Toulouse would keep an eye on his situation. This is also the case for Valencia. Having passed through Union Saint-Gilloise last season, Vertessen maintains good ratings in Belgium. The Dutch press recently explained that several Belgian clubs would like to bring him this winter.
If the Belgian wants to leave PSV, it would not particularly be the wish of the Dutch club. Earnest Stewarttechnical director of PSV, said that the club preferred to keep him to finish the current season.
Yorbe Vertessen retained by PSV Eindhoven this winter?
“There is interest in Yorbe. We are not yet at the point of saying that something is going to happen,” he confided. “We are doing our best to keep this group together. We want to become champions, we need everyone for that. But you should never say never. Vertessen played a lot of minutes and played an important role in many matches.”
Vertessen has taken part in 24 games this season, but has only started 4 times. He scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists. He is under contract with PSV until June 2025.
Earnest Stewart indicates that PSV will not simply cooperate in Vertessen’s departure. “The players we have under contract have signed that contract themselves. Ultimately, I am here to put together the best possible selection to become champion.”
