Police said that there were no additional charges once morest the suspicion that Lee Eun-hae, a suspect in the ‘Gapyeong Yongso Valley Murder’, and his former lovers also died in a suspicious accident.
The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s Metropolitan Investigation Team said that they had thoroughly investigated the suspicion of a suspicious death at Seokbawi Intersection in Incheon and a suspected snorkeling death in Pattaya, Thailand, but might not find any suspects in the crime.
In 2010, at Seokbawi Intersection, the police reported all traffic fatalities at the Michuhol Police Station, the local police station, in connection with the allegation that the vehicle that Lee’s boyfriend was driving at the time was in an accident, and the driver, the boyfriend, died and Lee was robbed of insurance money. A detailed analysis was conducted, but it was concluded that there was no traffic accident itself.
Also, regarding the allegation that Lee’s boyfriend died while snorkeling in Pattaya, Thailand in 2014, and that Lee, who accompanied him, took the insurance money, the death insurance is paid in full by the bereaved family, although the autopsy record confirms that the drowning accident occurred. He said it was investigated.
The police, however, will continue to analyze the related case records and will continue to investigate the allegations raised as soon as Mr. Lee is arrested.
