Yongsan apartment prices in the presidential office beat Songpa

The price per 3.3 square meters (pyeong) of an apartment in Yongsan-gu, Seoul exceeded that of Songpa-gu last month. Analysis follows that the relocation of the presidential office worked as a good thing.

According to the KB Real Estate housing price trend on the 2nd, the average sale price per 3.3 square meters of an apartment in Yongsan-gu in September was 61.2 million won. This is an increase of 140,000 won from the previous month (61.06 million won).

The sale price per 3.3 square meters of an apartment in Yongsan-gu has risen 1.9% in four months since the inauguration of President Yoon Seok-yeol in May of 60 million won.

It is analyzed that expectations for the relocation of the presidential office to Yongsan and the promotion of the Yongsan maintenance depot development were reflected.

On the other hand, the average sale price per 3.3 square meters of apartments in Songpa-gu in September was 61.03 million won, down 0.5% from the previous month (61.35 million won). The drop was the largest among the 25 districts in Seoul.

In Gangnam-gu and Seocho-gu, the most expensive apartments in Seoul, the average selling price per 3.3 square meters was 8,491 million won and 78.28 million won, respectively.

Meanwhile, the average sale price per 3.3 square meters of all apartments in Seoul in September was recorded at 50.93 million won, continuing the downward trend for three months in a row.
