Accusing CRIF of being far right, when it was “founded in the Resistance” and has inscribed the fight against the far right in its “deep DNA”, is “particularly perverse” and ” grotesque”, commented Yonathan Arfi. “A day will come, I hope, when the members of LFI, instead of following Jean-Luc Mélenchon in his wanderings outside the republican framework, will be able to emancipate themselves from it and free themselves from it, but today clearly this is not the case”, continued the president of Crif.
Several majority and government officials have affirmed their support for Yonathan Arfi in this controversy.
