Judging by the comments in chats, communities in social networks, not all kids now love and know the works of the classics, including Soviet ones. Of course, they do have an alternative – for example, a brighter and more modern version of Prostokvashino, Umka and Cheburashka. And the songs of Soviet composers do not sink into their souls as much as the work of various rappers, tiktokers and bloggers. But even in such a situation, you can find a way out. And it was proposed by a representative of the modern generation – Timur Rodriguez.

He posted a short video on his blog, in which he made a very original rap composition from the work of the most beloved children’s writer of past years, Korney Chukovsky, “Confusion”. It turned out, of course, unexpectedly, but quite interesting. If we exclude the option that the classics should not be updated and modernized to suit the needs of the modern public, leaving it in its original form, then the reading looks very worthy.

And, most importantly, she is able to attract the attention of children. If we go further, then this is how teenagers can be accustomed to more serious poetry. At least they will know the works of Russian and Soviet classics, and there, perhaps, they will be interested in the original. But here the help of parents or grandparents is already needed, who remember “how it was before” and can acquaint interested young people with this.
