Dakar, May 9 (APS) – “Show of force”, “Mega-demonstration”, etc.: the daily newspapers received by APS on Thursday highlighted “the human tide” which has taken storming the Place de la Nation on Wednesday at the call of the opposition coalition Yewwi askan wi to protest once morest the rejection of its list of candidates in the proportional elections of July 31.
YAW leaders and their allies from the Wallu caolition organized a peaceful rally at Place de la Nation following the rejection late Friday evening of their national list for non-compliance with certain provisions of the electoral code.

There was a ”strong mobilization” and ”strong speeches”, notes L’Info, which believes that ”the Yewwi Askan Wi coalition is sending a strong signal to Macky Sall”.
