The digital operator Yes Celular announced an agreement with Uni Global Telecom to guarantee international roaming outside the major operators. The service seeks to meet the needs of customers whenever they want, when they are traveling.
According to the companies, customers can count on national and international roaming services on the same chip, with priority, in addition to promising connection quality and speed equivalent to those enjoyed by local consumers.
Signed on June 27, the contract provides for investments of R$ 2 million and expands the client portfolio of both companies. The expectation is that revenues reach the mark of R$ 30 million by next year, which represents something very significant.
Through the partnership between Uni Global and Yes Celular, 36 operators will work with the plan, benefiting Brazilian tourists and 194 other countries, mostly in the United States, Mexico and Canada, which will host the next Soccer World Cup , in 2026.
Tourists in Europe, Asia, Africa and Mercosur countries should also benefit. Also according to the companies, the agreement intends to benefit until mid-2024 a total of approximately 1 million tourists who travel at least once a year.
It is worth noting that Yes Celular is a mobile phone company with more than 10 years in the market. Uni Global Telecom, on the other hand, offers solutions for the tourism and telecommunications sectors, in addition to developing an on-demand system for partners.
