Sports Writing, (EFE) .- The Venezuelan Juan Yepez showed that he knows how to put the ball to travel, sending it twice out of the park, Gary Sánchez, Carlos Correa and the Quisqueyan Vladimir Guerrero Jr. also deposited the ball in the stands and Chad Kuhl pitched masterfully in the Major Leagues.

CARDINALS 9-0 MIAMI
Venezuelan Juan Yepez made himself felt with the bat and this Monday he hit two home runs and produced five runs for the St. Louis Cardinals to whitewash the Miami Marlins.
Paul Goldschmidt went deep, adding two runs scored and two RBIs for the Cardinals, who had a great showing from veteran Adam Wainwright (6-5), who covered seven innings of nine strikeouts.
Pablo López (5-4) completed five innings of five runs and five strikeouts to be defeated by the Marlins.

GUARDIANS 1-11 TWINS
Dominican catcher Gary Sánchez homered and drove in four runs as the Minnesota Twins beat the Cleveland Guardians.
Puerto Rican Carlos Correa took the ball out of the park, scored one return and produced two; and Colombian Gio Urshela scored and drove in two laps.
The Guardians’ only run came in the bottom of the ninth on the legs of Myles Straw, on a wild pitch by reliever Jharel Cotton.

ROCKIES 4-0 DODGERS
Right-hander Chad Kuhl (5-5) pitched a scoreless complete game to earn his sixth shutout of the season as the Colorado Rockies beat the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Kuhl (5-5), who struck out five batters, pitched 102 in nine innings once morest the Dodgers’ powerful lineup.
Cuban José Iglesia drove in two runs to help the Rockies succeed.
Gavin Lux had two of the Dodgers’ three hits in the game.

BLUE JACKS 7-2 RED SOCKS
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a two-run homer, while George Springer and Matt Chapman also hit the ball over the fence as the Toronto Blue Jays defended their home once morest the Boston Red Sox.
Kevin Gausman (6-6) pitched seven scoreless innings and struck out 10 batters as the Blue Jays went out in a big way once morest the Red Sox.
The Aruban Xander Bogaerts and the Mexican Alex Verdugo scored the two laps that the visitors recorded in the game.

NATIONALS 3-2 PIRATES
Maikel Franco hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning and the Washington Nationals rallied past the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Also Dominican Luis García scored twice and Cuban Yadiel Hernández drove in a run for the winners.
Dominican Oneil Cruz hit the first home run of his career in the Major Leagues.

YANKEES 9-5 ATHLETICS
Anthony Rizzo hit his 20th home run of the season and Giancarlo Stanton drove the ball out of the park for the second straight game as the New York Yankees defeated the Oakland Athletics.
Josh Donaldson and José Treviño each drove in two runs and DJ LeMahieu scored twice to help the Yankees succeed.
Venezuelan Elvis Andrus drove in three runs and scored one, while Dominican Ramon Laureano scored and drove in for the Athletics.

RANGERS 10-4 Royals
Martin Perez (6-2) earned his sixth win of the season by covering six innings of four runs and five batters retired by way of strikeout as the Texas Rangers imposed their law in their visit to Kansas City.
Leody Taveras, Kole Calhoun and Mitch Garver each drove in two runs for the Rangers.
