The Yemeni government allegedly confirms rocket fire towards Israel. A threat to the Jewish state from Sanaa included.

Sanaa – The war in Israel is claiming many lives, and threats once morest Tel Aviv and the Israeli government in Jerusalem from the Arab world are increasing day by day. There is no end to the violence in sight. On the contrary.

After Iran and the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon, Yemen has now officially issued military threats once morest Israel. This is reported by the Israeli online news portal Ynetnews. Yemeni Prime Minister Maeen Abdul Malek threatened to attack Israeli ships in the Red Sea if the air strikes on the Gaza Strip continued.

That’s not all: According to the report, Abdul Malek confirmed that rockets and drones were fired from his country towards Israeli territory. The Yemeni prime minister is quoted by the news site as saying: “Sanaa will contribute and help in the response to the massacre in Gaza. The Americans intercepted missiles and drones aimed at Israel and managed to shoot down some of them. But some achieved their goal.” The information cannot be independently verified.

Rocket attack from Yemen on Israel: USA names Shiite Houthi rebels

A US Navy warship intercepted three cruise missiles and several drones on Thursday (October 19) that were fired from Yemen by the Iran-aligned Shiite Houthi movement, possibly towards Israel, the Pentagon in Washington said. As the US broadcaster I24NEWS reported, Israel was informed that 15 drones had been identified, which were therefore launched from Yemen.

Saudi Arabia intercepted at least one drone, it said. The desert state lies between Yemen and Israel and, with the help of American diplomacy, has initiated a rapprochement process with the Israelis in recent years. Since 2015, Saudi Arabia has also been taking military action once morest the Houthi movement in its southern neighbor. According to initial findings, the Houthi rebels, who are allied with the Lebanese Hezbollah and see Jewish Israel as an enemy, are suspected of being the masterminds of the latest attack across the Red Sea.

Abdul Malek’s statements are surprising in that his government is actually supposed to take action once morest the Houthi rebels in the country with an estimated population of 33.7 million. In recent months, however, there have been pro-Palestinian demonstrations in the capital Sanaa (around 2.5 million inhabitants), which have now resurfaced following the latest Israeli air strikes once morest Hamas in Gaza – as in Iraq, Jordan or Syria .
