The arrival of summer usually generates uncertainty among tourists who decide to travel abroad and doubt whether or not they should be inoculated once morest yellow fever. From the Ministry of Health of Santa Fe they clarified that there are currently recommendations to be inoculated to visit one of the main tourist destinations that Argentines choose.
“Brazil does not take it as mandatory. That’s why what there is health recommendation from Argentina. This is mainly for the center and north of Brazil”, he detailed in Every day (El Tres) the Undersecretary of Health Promotion of Santa Fe, Sebastián Torres.

According to the specialist, the recommendation is also extended to some countries in Central America and part of Africaalthough this continent is not usually one of the most chosen for holiday tourism.
Regarding inoculation once morest yellow fever, Torres explained that It is a single dose that is applied once in a lifetime and that has to be ten days before traveling to one of these destinations. He further remarked that can be given in conjunction with almost any other vaccineexcept for Argentine Hemorrhagic Fever.
Where to get the yellow fever vaccine
In Rosario and the region there are currently four vaccination centers:
- Hospital Eva Perón: Monday from 7 to 13
- Provincial Hospital: Tuesday from 7 to 13
- North Zone Hospital: Thursday from 7 to 16
- Centennial Hospital: Friday from 8 to 13
