A yellow alert for isolated storms was issued this Sunday by the National Meteorological Service (SMN): the regions involved are a large part of the province of currents y Missions.
“The area will be affected by isolated storms, some of which may be locally strong,” they said in the statement.
In addition, they said that they “will be accompanied by gusts, occasional hail, strong electrical activity and, fundamentally, abundant rainfall in short periods.”
The part of the national meteorological agency adds that accumulated precipitation values between 20 and 50 mm are expected, and may be exceeded locally.
The localities of Corrientes named by the SMN are General Alvear, Paso de los Libres, San Martin and Santo Tome. Meanwhile, those of Missions are: 25th of May, Apostles, Cainguás, Concepcion, Leandro N. Alem, Obera, San Javier and South of Guaraní.
