Yasin Saqib, who hails from a small town in Muzaffargarh district of South Punjab, apart from playing the harmonium, also repairs this musical instrument, and for this purpose he has opened a workshop where harmoniums are also manufactured. .

Yasin Saqib, once a poet, later turned to music, and sang on stage for eighteen years.

Talking to Independent Urdu, Yasin Saqib said that he could not get enough recognition in the field of music, after which he started making harmoniums.

Yasin Saqib further said that he conducted experiments on marmonium, which helped him a lot in understanding this musical instrument, and he also started making harmoniums.

Yasin Saqib makes the entire harmonium by hand, for which he uses nail wood.

A machine-made harmonium is relatively difficult to balance, while a hand-made instrument is easier, and the tune produced lasts longer.

According to Yasin Saqib, there are many types of harmonium, the minimum cost of manufacturing a harmonium can be up to Rs 35,000.

The most difficult step in making a harmonium is balancing the frets, so that the harmonium sounds its best.

Yasin Saqib, who also receives orders for making harmoniums from abroad, said that in order to achieve mastery and success in a work, it is necessary to get to the bottom of it.
