The 23rd Criminal Settlement Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge Cho Byung-gu) will hold the 10th trial on charges such as violating the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes (threat of retaliation) by Yang Hyun-suk.
Former CEO Yang is accused of threatening to change his statement at the police station by singer trainee and public interest reporter Han, who accused the YG celebrity B.I of drug purchases. At the trial on this day, a witness interrogation will be conducted on Mr. Choi, the drug supplier of Mr. Han.
At the 9th trial held on the 29th of last month, as a witness for the defense attorney, a newspaper was conducted on Mo Geum, a travel worker, and Mo Park, who worked in the YG HR team, whom Yang Hyun Suk produced through the group Keep6 vocals.
On November 3, 2019, when Mr. Han met Mr. Han by chance at a cafe in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Mr. Han gestured for money and said, ‘I have no feelings for Yang Hyun-suk. It’s because of the money,’ he said several times.

Prosecutors claim that the photo was taken near Mapo-gu, Seoul, where the YG headquarters is located, as a result of Han’s cell phone forensic in August 2016. Mr. Han said that he might not take this poster, raising the possibility that the time of the photo shoot was tampered with.
In this regard, Park said that from the first half of 2014 to the second half of 2015, the poster was produced and attached to the bathroom of YG’s office building as part of an in-house campaign. In response to the prosecutor’s question regarding the possibility that the poster would still be attached to the toilet even following the campaign was over, “I don’t think it’s possible. At that time, he paid special attention to the campaign that the team leader thought was important.”
On the other hand, Yang Hyun-suk is being tried on charges of conciliating, intimidating, and demanding that he reverse his statement by summoning Mr. It became known that Mr. Han made a public interest report to the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission in 2019, and Yang Hyun-suk’s side denies the allegations, saying that he had met Mr. Han but did not threaten him.

Han is facing a third trial on drug charges. He was sentenced to three years in prison in 2017 and four years of probation for smoking marijuana with Big Bang’s TOP in 2016. However, during his probation period, he took methamphetamine once more, and in July, the Supreme Court confirmed the sentence of one year and six months in prison. The third drug administration took place while the second trial was in progress, and Han was sentenced to six months in prison at the first trial held on the 23rd.
