Al-Ahly management has developed a complete plan to renew the contracts of the team’s players, according to the period during which the contracts expire.
A source said, in exclusive statements to Laila Koura today, Sunday, that there is a clear plan from Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club’s president, to renew the players’ contracts, according to the vision of the technical staff.
He added, “The data is being updated with Mahmoud Al-Khatib and the Planning Committee regarding the time periods for players’ contracts to deal with them early.”
He explained, “There are 4 players whose contracts expire at the end of the current season, and they are Ayman Ashraf, Rami Rabia, Hussein Al-Shahat and Yasser Ibrahim. There is no problem at all with renewing contracts and modifying them financially.”
And he continued, “There is a large area of trust between the club and its players that makes them wait for the club’s position. Also, there are conversations that took place with them that may not be related to financial sums, but their basis is the club’s desire for them to stay.”
And the source continued, “When Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club’s president, returns from his medical trip to France at the end of this week, the matter will undoubtedly be resolved, and their contracts will be renewed, but according to clear principles.”
He added, “Mohamed Hani’s contract expires at the end of the 2024 season, but the club will negotiate with him in the coming period, along with some other players, to extend their contracts.”
The source concluded, “There are 3 other players whose position is being studied to amend their contracts financially to suit their efforts, similar to what happened with Raafat Khalil following his escalation and his stay in the first team.”
