7 Yakuza games are coming to PS+

Definitely, the month of August on the PlayStation side will be under the sign of Yakuza! After revealing the arrival of Yakuza: Like a Dragon on the PlayStation Plus Essential, Sony once once more takes the floor to announce another good news: almost the entire series is coming to PlayStation Plus.

The acclaimed Yakuza series, which includes the saga of Kazuma Kiryu and the latest installment Yakuza: Like A Dragon, is coming to PlayStation Plus in 2022. All players intrigued by Sega’s long-running series will be able to experience its clever mix of combat, from quarters to visit, mini-games and fascinating stories starting next month. It is therefore no less than seven games that will land on PlayStation Plus during the year, starting with Yakuza Zero : The Place of Oath, Yakuza Kiwamithe remake of the very first opus, and Yakuza Kiwami 2the remake of the second chapter. These three works that have marked the history of video games will be available in just a few days, in August, for all players who are subscribed to PS+ Extra or PS+ Premium.

Later this year (unfortunately no specific date has been given), PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also be able to get their hands on Yakuza 3 Remastered and its consequences, namely Yakuza 4 Remastered et Yakuza 5 Remastered.

To finish, Yakuza 6 : The Song of Lifethe conclusion to the adventures of Kazuma Kiryu, will also be available later this year. Unlike the three previous games mentioned, the title will be available in the PlayStation Plus Extra as well as in the Premium offer.

With the arrival of Yakuza games in the new PlayStation Plus formula, Sony is once once more responding to Game Pass. It must be said that most of the games from the Ryu ga Gotoku Studio license have been available in Microsoft’s video game on demand service for many months now. For example, Yakuza: Like a Dragon landed in the current 2021 program and Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 have already made two passages on the Xbox brand catalog.
