Yakutsk Weather Forecast: Frost, Fog, and Snow on January 8th

According to the Yakutsk Department of Hydrometeorology and Migration, frost and fog will persist in the central and eastern regions on January 8. Light snow is expected in the west, south, and east of the Arctic coast.

The air temperature in the central regions at night will drop to -48…-53, in the northeast – to -53…-58, in the west, northwest – to -35…-40, in the lower Lena – to -40…-45, in the south -west -22…-27.

Daytime temperatures in the central regions will be -43…-48, in the northeast it will be -45…-50, in the lower Lena – up to -40-45, in the northwest – up to -35…-40. It will be warmer in Kolyma – up to -28…-33 and in the southwest, where -22…-27 is expected during the day.

In Yakutsk on January 8, fog will remain. At night they forecast -46…-48, during the day it will be -44…-46.
