The 18+ movie “Breaking the Waves” starring Wu Kangren, Ke Weilin, Liu Zhuping and Liang Xianghua has finally been released in Hong Kong despite being a hot topic in Taiwan: bold performances by the actors, Wu Kangren’s full nudity from the side, breaking the taboo of sexual topics, lots of bed scenes… However, Wu Kangren said: “I don’t like to use a Category III movie to describe “Breaking the Waves”, but it is indeed for audiences over 18 years old! After watching it, you really won’t feel that it has anything to do with pornography.” The profound characterization of “Breaking the Waves” is the main reason that attracted several actors to participate. Through an exclusive interview with “Yahoo Movies”, several people who came from Taiwan will make a more in-depth analysis.
Wu Kangren, Liu Zhuping and Liang Xianghua came all the way from Taiwan to introduce “Breaking Waves” together with Hong Kong’s Ke Weilin.
Liang Xianghua is so naive that she is easily deceived. Wu Kangren praises Liu Zhuping for his courage to ask questions.
In “Breaking Waves”, Wu Kangren and Liu Zhuping are sex partners; Liang Xianghua and Ke Weilin are in a BDSM (bondage and training) employment relationship, so both pairs of men and women have a lot of rival scenes. After many rehearsals, Wu Kangren: It is not an ordinary adult film
There are a lot of intense fighting scenes in “Breaking Waves”, and the actors acted very freely. It turns out that they all went through careful rehearsals. Wu Kangren said: “There was close guidance and many rehearsals, so when everyone went to watch, they saw that many actions were very natural. In fact, they were all tried many times in private. There were also very gradual rehearsals, and the director and others were very protective of me, so I really didn’t feel nervous when acting.” As for whether you are worried that the topic will only focus on the sex scenes when the movie is released? Liu Zhuping: “When it was actually released, I found that it should be said that this is something that everyone knows, there is nudity, so no one will discuss this part. It is more like a discussion of different values.”
“Making Waves” has a lot of fierce fighting scenes, but Wu Kangren emphasized that this is not an ordinary Category III film.
Wu Kangren emphasized: “I hope that Hong Kong audiences will have the opportunity to watch this movie. After watching it, you will feel that it is not an ordinary Category III film. I don’t like to use Category III films to describe “Breaking the Waves”, but it is indeed necessary for audiences over 18 years old to watch it! Although there are many nude scenes in the film, Liu Zhuping is grateful for being able to capture his youth: “In my era, everyone is becoming more and more open-minded, which is our luck. Ke Weilin never showed his face during filming, Liang Xianghua mistakenly thought: How come the staff acted so well?
In the film, Liang Xianghua and Ke Weilin are in a BDSM employment relationship. Liang Xianghua hired Ke Weilin, who goes by the alias “uberdick”, to tie her up. However, Ke Weilin wore a hood throughout the filming. Therefore, from the early stage of filming to the filming process, Liang Xianghua never saw Ke Weilin’s real body! Ke Weilin: “The first time the director asked Xianghua and I to facetime, I deliberately did my hair, thinking that the first impression would be better. Then the director came in and said, “Will, turn off that camera.” I didn’t think that we would not meet for the whole process. Ke Weilin never showed up during filming, and even Liang Xianghua couldn’t recognize him.
At the last scene of the movie, Liang Xianghua said goodbye to uberdick. Ke Weilin, who was not supposed to appear, finally showed up to help Liang Xianghua get into the role, but it almost turned into a silly scene! Ke Weilin: “She looked at me lying next to her, but she didn’t know who I was. She had never seen me.” Liang Xianghua: “I was thinking about who this is? How can he act so well? Is he a staff member? (showing a puzzled expression) But I should act!” Ke Weilin shouted: “I lost! I acted very well at that time!”

Recently, Wu Kangren has started to participate in Hong Kong movies and enter the Hong Kong market.
