Karthikapalli Karate is the pride of the country. Seventh grader Yadu Krishnan won the Thai Boxing category in the World Karate Championship held in Thailand. Yadu is the younger of the two sons of Unnikrishnan and Meenu in Nangyarkulangara Akamkudi Pudhuwapadikal Chira. He has been practicing karate for four years.
