This sedative, mixed with opioids, is causing havoc in the United States. Europe seems spared, even if this drug has been identified in France.

The rumor has been gaining momentum in recent days. Several messages circulating on social networks claim that xylazine has appeared in France. “The ‘zombie drug’ continues to invade France”, can we even read on some tweets, taking up the nickname given to this substance because of the jerky approach adopted by its users. Never used alone, xylazine is often mixed with fentanyl, a painkiller from the opioid family. The “zombie drug” then forms a cocktail called “tranq”.
