TweetDeck is known as one of the best clients to utilize X, now called Twitter. However, in addition to being renamed XPro, the application also became a paid feature on Elon Musk’s social network and today some users are already being blocked from accessing XPro in the free version.
The exclusivity of XPro for Blue subscribers was announced in July, but it is only being applied now in an initial phase with some users, one of them being the analyst Matt Navarra, who confirmed the limitations of the new version.
According to him, X now redirects to Blue’s subscription page when trying to access the address “tweetdeck.com” if the user is not a subscriber.
X has finally killed free access to tweetdeck

a sales page for X Premium now pops up when trying to lead Tweetdeck.

Among the advantages offered by TweetDeck are support for multiple accounts at the same time, personalized feeds displayed in columns on the same screen and an advanced search tool.
In this way, one of X’s most beloved features has unfortunately just become restricted to paid accounts, which currently number less than 1 million users, according to researcher Travis Brown.
