MEXICO CITY.- Xóchitl Gálvez Ruizpresidential candidate of PRI-PAN-PRDspoke about the president’s “big lies” Andrés Manuel López Obrador and the candidate of his party, Claudia Sheinbaum and asked that they not judge her by her appearance.
In a video published during his tour in Chihuahuathe PAN member asked Mexicans to trust her and not judge her by her clothing, her appearance or her weight, this after criticism in social networks of sympathizers of the 4T.
AMLO’s “big lies”
Xóchitl spoke about the difficulties of Mexicans, especially those in poverty, and reiterated that one of the “lies” of President López Obrador, and that would have led to his candidacy, was to say that he wants to eliminate social programs.
“The lie of saying that I wanted to eliminate social programs […] “After coming from where I come from, after knowing the country as I know it, it would be impossible for me to remove a social program,” he said.
The opposition candidate pointed out that another of the “big lies” of the 4T is to say that Mexico is at its best. She also denounced the shortage of medicines and insecurity.

The former senator denounced the attacks she has suffered on social networks for her physical appearance and her way of dressing and questioned whether these issues are more important than the quality of a person.
“In recent months they have told me everything: That I am fat, that I have crooked teeth, that a woman with a huipil does not look like a president. Is that really what matters? Do your teeth really matter, does your clothing really matter? Or does your heart matter,” she accused.
“For me the most important thing is the heart,” he expressed.
Gálvez Ruiz denied that she wants to be president for ego or to have power, but instead seeks to serve and help change the reality of poverty that millions of Mexicans experience.
“From my heart, the reason why I want to be president is to serve you, it is to change this history, it is because we build this history where we all fit, where we all pull together, where there is no hatred, there is no division,” she added.
The opposition also called on citizens to build the “prosperous Mexico that we all want.”
“I want us to change it together, to change it in unity, working hand in hand, without hatred, without division. It is not about two Mexicos, it is about one Mexico, this confronted Mexico,” she mentioned.
“I know that we are going to achieve it, but I need you to believe it, I need you to believe me, I need you to know me and not judge me by my physical appearance, do not judge me by what they say about me, judge me by what I am and by what I’m worth,” he insisted in his video.
