The notebook line CORE yes brand XMG received a new model this week. In this sense, the new device comes with a 16-inch screen and technical specifications that include an AMD Ryzen 7 processor and a powerful GPU from NVIDIA’s GeForce line.

For starters, this is the company’s first laptop to come with a panel this size. Furthermore, the display is produced with IPS technology, has a 16:10 aspect ratio and has WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600). The product’s brightness is 350 nits and it supports a 240 Hz refresh rate.

The XMG CORE 16 technical sheet is made up of an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card. However, the user can choose to choose a model with RTX 4060 and there are also versions with a capacity of up to 96GB of RAM, which operate at frequencies of 5600 MHz.

The device also comes with two M.2 2280 PCI Express 4. x4 SSD slots, with capacities varying according to price. As for the battery, the company claims that the notebook can withstand up to 8 hours of use with the user using the machine with a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz.

It is worth highlighting that the model’s keyboard is mechanical and comes with RGB backlighting. The ports include one USB-A 2.0, one HDMI 2.1, one RJ45, Mini DisplayPort 1.4a compatible with G-SYNC and two USB-A 3.2 Gen1, in addition to the SD card reader and headphone and microphone input.
