A lot has happened in a year at Xiaomi. Indeed, the famous Chinese brand has since abandoned the mention “Mi” for most of its devices and has already launched a string of smartphones since the beginning of 2022, ranging from entry-level to the premium segment. However, we must not forget the old references of the manufacturer which now benefit from a much better value for money, like the Xiaomi Mi 11 today sold 350 euros cheaper than when it was released.

What to remember from the Xiaomi Mi 11

  • The AMOLED WQHD+ display at 120Hz
  • The efficiency of the 108 megapixel photo sensor
  • The power of the Snapdragon 888 with 8 GB of RAM
  • Fast and wireless charging compatibility up to 50 W

Instead of 799 euros at launch, the Xiaomi Mi 11 with 256 GB of storage is available today in promotion at only 449 euros on the sites of SFR et RED. You do not have to take a plan to buy the smartphone, but if you do so with this latter operator, you can get a refund of 50 euros.

A smartphone still as premium

Le Xiaomi Mi 11 has today been replaced by a new model, but it is clear that the technical data sheet of this smartphone remains excellent, starting with its fabulous screen. Indeed, its 6.81-inch AMOLED panel is one of the main assets, as it offers a WQHD+ definition of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, HDR10+ compatibility, a very high maximum brightness. and a color temperature measured at 6,400 K in normal mode, or 100 K from perfection. It’s simply an excellent screen, even one of the best currently, especially since it is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

Released in 2021, it obviously does not take advantage of the omnipotence of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but you should still know that the Mi 11 remains a performance monster since it was the first smartphone in the Android world to ship Qualcomm’s S888, with 8 GB of RAM. This configuration is far from obsolete and still allows you to meet all the uses you can have of a smartphone in 2022, including web browsing, viewing social networks, reading videos or even doing run demanding games in their best graphic conditions.

Fast and wireless charging in one place

Regarding the autonomy of the Mi 11, you should know that it will not exceed the full day. Indeed, its 4,600 mAh battery might be enough for other smartphones, but for this particularly greedy one with its 120 Hz screen and WQHD +, the percentages tend to plummet quickly. Fortunately, a very fast charging system of up to 50 W is included, as is wireless charging. Allow approximately 45 minutes to go from 0 to 100% with the appropriate charger.

To finish with the photo part, the Xiaomi Mi 11 does not have to be ashamed of the quality of its shots via its module at the back. The latter is composed of a main sensor of 108 megapixels (f / 1.85), an ultra wide-angle of 13 megapixels at 123 ° (f / 2.4) and a macro lens of 5 megapixels ( f/2.2). It might miss a x2 optical zoom in this list, but the versatility is still there, all the more so with a much appreciated level of excellence for the 108 megapixel, macro and portrait modes.
