Xiaomi’s next-generation ‘Redmi K60’ series released in Qualcomm and Mediatek versions

It is news that the next-generation flagship ‘Redmi K60’ series of Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi will be released in Qualcomm and Mediatek versions.

According to the latest report from China, the ‘Redmi K60’ series is said to be released with Snapdragon and MediaTek chipset variants manufactured by TSMC on a 4-nm process. It is highly likely that they are Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ 1st generation and Mediatek Dimension City 9000+ chipsets, respectively.

In addition, Tipster claims that the Redmi K50 series will feature a flexible 2K screen with a punched hole in the center, and a 50MP main camera supposedly a modified version of Sony’s IMX766 sensor.

However, since Xiaomi has not yet completed the K50 lineup, the ‘Redmi K60’ series is not expected to be released anytime soon. Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi K50S and Redmi K50S Pro models next month.

Both models are equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ first-generation processor, and it is known that the Pro model will be equipped with Xiaomi’s first 200-megapixel camera.
