A more powerful chip
If versions prior to Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G are powered by the Snapdragon 695 chip from Qualcomm, the Chinese brand has decided to upgrade this model with the Dimensity 920 processor from MediaTek. The real difference between the two is that the second SoC is 5G compatible. The performance gain is felt in everyday use, especially with the very fluid and bright 120 Hz AMOLED screen.
The model on sale is blue with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. This is more than enough for all your daily tasks. In any case, you can push it to its limits in mixed use without fearing a drop in performance. MIUI 12.5, Xiaomi’s proprietary Android overlay, is also maneuvering to allow various customizations, even if it can easily be blamed for a few bugs, invasive ads or even applications installed by default that are not really relevant.
Autonomy and photo at the top
This has been a constant at Xiaomi for years on each model released: good autonomy and efficient fast charging. This is obviously the case of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G with its 4,500 mAh battery, which allows it to easily last more than a day. A 120 W charger comes with the smartphone and it fully charges in just about fifteen minutes.
On the photo side, Xiaomi is using the same basics as the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, i.e. four rear photo modules, the main one being 108 megapixels, and a 16-megapixel front sensor.
