Xiaomi’s cheapest & most expensive SD8 + Gen1 equipped machine passed certification | Smartphone digest

Qualcomm’s latest high-end chip, Snapdragon 8+ Gen1.

Xiaomi has already released the Xiaomi 12S series in China as the world’s first model equipped with the chipset.

Meanwhile, authentication information regarding another model equipped with the same chipset came out.

According to this information, the 22061218C (L18) will be the tallest smartphone with Xiaomi’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, and the 22081212C (L16) will be the cheapest model with the same chip.

Certainly, looking at the RAM and storage capacity options, L18 is 12GB / 512GB and 12GB / 1024GB, L16 is 8GB / 256GB + 8GB / 128GB model, and even this alone may make the former a more expensive model. I understand.

By the way, regarding each model number, it seems that 22061218C is likely to be Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 and 22061218C is likely to be Redmi K50S Pro.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is the second foldable model for Xiaomi, but a 1TB storage model is prepared, and it seems to be a pretty luxurious spec.

Also, the Redmi K50S Pro should be positioned as an upgraded version of the Redmi K50 Pro with the regular SD8 Gen1.

Although the Redmi K series has never been sold in Japan, the K50 Pro is being rolled out in India and some countries / regions under the aliases Xiaomi 12X and POCO F4 Pro.

Therefore, it is possible that this K50S Pro will also be released in Japan under the Xiaomi and POCO brands.
