While Samsung has just released the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Xiaomi is showing us its new foldable model to ride the wave: the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3.
The brand has just unveiled its new foldable smartphone model, for the moment only available in China with three different models whose prices in Yuans are known (which are equivalent to 1130€, 1255€ and 1380€) and which vary by their memories respective whether in RAM (12 GB for the cheapest model, 16 GB for the others) or in storage (256 GB, 520 GB and 1 TB).
Just like its competitor from Samsung, the MIX Fold 3 has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and even surpasses the Z Fold 5 in terms of brightness (2600 nits) and screen size (8.03 inches) . The screen has a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The wireless charging of the MIX Fold 3 should be quite efficient because it goes up to 50 watts, which is not very far from wired charging at 65 watts. The 4,800 milliamps per hour battery should provide decent battery life for users.
The camera is also revealed and it does not do things by halves since it is made up of four sensors, the main one of which, a wide angle, reaches 50 megapixels. The other three are a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle, and two 10-megapixel sensors each.
The MIX Fold 3 will be available in two colors: black and gold. It is unfortunately unlikely that it will be available in Europe, since it remains, for the moment, an exclusivity on Chinese territory (with the exception of Hong Kong), as confirmed by a publication of the marketing director of Xiaomi on “X (formerly Twitter)
