A highly anticipated launch, first in China
Xiaomi’s marketing machine is already running at full speed. After numerous leaks and rumors, Xiaomi has finally made a date official: September 21, 2023. Initially, the smartphones will be presented in China, followed by its introduction to the international market, with particular attention to the European continent.
Diversity of models
Xiaomi will deploy three models for this new series: the Redmi Note 13 5G, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. Thanks to the photos published by the brand, we already have a glimpse of the design of the Pro+.
It features a four-tone vegetable leather back with three prominent camera lenses. The front, for its part, is dominated by a screen where a perforated front camera is nestled, surrounded by thin borders. A first for the Redmi range, the sides are rounded. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, a guarantee of solidity.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro was also entitled to its visual preview. The teasers reveal a smartphone sporting a silver/white color with a particularly attractive design on the back. Its triple camera is framed in a square format.

Screen technology and performance
One of the teasers focused on the screen of the Pro models. Xiaomi highlights a screen with a definition of 1.5K, an impressive PWM frequency of 1920 Hz, an eye protection feature and a high maximum brightness of 1800 nits. Enough to promise a most pleasant visual experience.
In terms of performance, another teaser announces that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ would be equipped with the latest Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC from MediaTek. But the highlight would certainly be its 200 megapixel main camera, a definition that was not found in this price range.
