Xiaomi recently launched the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro series in India. The latest series consists of Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G smartphones. The range is the successor to the Redmi Note 10 Pro series launched in 2021. Priced at Rs 24,999, Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G offers upgrades in terms of camera, performance and battery. We’ve been using the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G for a while and here’s our 10-point review.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G sports a somewhat similar design to its predecessor. But it looks like a completely different device due to the company’s EVOL.Pro design language. The device comes with flat edges that provide a secure grip even without a protective case. The material used on the sides gives the smartphone a premium feel and also does not attract many fingerprints.

The design of the camera module is quite different. The camera module has been redesigned to accommodate the new triple-lens setup instead of a quad-lens setup as seen in the previous generation. The camera module comes with the 108MP AI camera.

The smartphone is quite light with only 202 grams in weight. The slim frame, flat sides, and weight make the device easy to carry around all day. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a speaker grille at the top. The bottom edge houses the USB-C port, SIM tray, and another speaker grill. While the left edge is undisturbed, the right edge gets the power button with fingerprint sensor and volume rockers.

The smartphone has an AMOLED screen
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED DotDisplay with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The screen comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The overall viewing experience turned out to be quite enjoyable as the color reproduction is rich. The screen is also suitable for streaming video and playing games, although we were expecting thinner bezels this time around.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G’s display performs quite well in sunlight, thanks to the 1200 nits of peak brightness. Adaptive brightness makes the smartphone display easy on the eye. We also had no complaints regarding the viewing angles. The handset offers a display refresh rate of up to 120Hz which makes on-screen transitions smooth. The display quality of the device is up to the price segment in which it is located.
