Xiaomi has launched a new Android tablet “Xiaomi Pad Pro 12.4” in China.
It is one size larger than the current 11-inch Xiaomi Pad. Compatible with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitive pens and keyboard cases.
The specs are SoC with Snapdragon 870, 6GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB UFS3.1 storage, 12.4 inch (2560 x 1600) display, and 10,000mAh battery.
The camera is rear 50MP + 2MP, front 20MP. It supports 67w fast charging, and the port is USB3.2 Gen1 Type-C, which supports not only charging but also data and video output.
The OS is Android 12 and the UI is MIUI 13. In addition, it supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, the refresh rate is 120Hz, and the sound is compatible with Dolby Atmos.
Since it is 12.4 inches, it is a model that competes with the Galaxy Tab S8 +.
The Galaxy Tab S8+ is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen1, so the specs are good, but as shown below, it costs more than 100,000 yen, whereas this unit costs 3,500 yuan (regarding 70,000 yen) in China.

It is also characterized by its thinness of 6.66mm. (Galaxy is 5.7mm, so it’s even thinner)
The pen supports 4,096 levels of pen pressure detection and has a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. It can be used for 20 minutes with a 1-minute charge, and can be used continuously for up to 8 hours with a full charge.
