Xiaomi Tablet 5 SeriesA year after its release, the manufacturer launched a new 12.4-inch 5 Pro today. The appearance of the new phone draws on the design language of the Xiaomi Mi 12/12S series, and the rear camera is changed to a size-divided style. The weight and thickness of the device are 620g and 6.66mm, respectively, and the colors are black, silver, and green. It has four built-in speakers and is equipped with a USB-C 3.2 Gen1 port, which can be wired to output images to a larger screen.
Like the 11-inch Mi Pad 5 Pro, the 12.4-inch model is powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor. Its LCD screen has a resolution of 2,800 x 1,752, a refresh rate of 120Hz and supports Dolby Vision. The device has a built-in 10,000mAh battery and supports 67W wired fast charging. There is a 50MP main camera (Samsung JN1) and a 2MP depth-of-field camera on the back, and a 20MP selfie camera appears in the middle of the long edge on the front side. The system supports face recognition unlocking, and a fingerprint recognition module is also integrated on the power button.
The Mi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 is divided into three configurations: 6+128, 8+256 and 12+512, all of which are Wi-Fi models. The initial prices are RMB 2,799, 3,299 and 3,999 respectively, and they are available for pre-sale in mainland China from now on.
